Our online orientation and tutorials will familiarize you with Desire2Learn, our online learning management system. Our advisors and instructors will advise you of resources available to you, and they will define clear expectations. To make sure your experience is complete, we will provide advising and career counseling from your enrollment and orientation through to your graduation. |

Nursing Programs If you’re a registered nurse looking for more out of your career, advancing your education is essential. Now you can complete your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) primarily online through the College of Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago, a top-ranked nursing program recognized internationally for preparing nurses for advanced practice. Patient Safety Leadership Programs Through a multidisciplinary approach to education and training, the Patient Safety Leadership program, designed by the College of Medicine in conjunction with several other colleges at the University of Illinois at Chicago, will be offered online through The Global Campus. The program will enable learners and health care organizations to affect positive change in all aspects of patient care, from the bedside to facility design, including administration, academia, government, accreditation and clinical associations. Accreditation The Global Campus offers degree programs developed in partnership with the colleges and departments of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Springfield. These campuses will award the degrees under their individual accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. For students, this means that your degree from the University of Illinois Global Campus will be a University of Illinois degree. |
