About GCU
Founded
in 1949, Grand Canyon University developed into a premier teacher

nursing, business, Christian studies, and arts & sciences.
As the city of Phoenix expanded around Grand Canyon University, the
university grew along with the city to become one of the premier
private universities in the nation. Grand Canyon University

Grand Canyon University, through its Ken Blanchard College of Business,
is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business
Schools and Programs to offer the following business degrees: The
Bachelor of Science (BS) with majors in Accounting, Business
Administration, and Marketing The Master of Business Administration
(MBA).
Grand Canyon University is the only university in Arizona to hold this

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle NW,
Suite 530, Washington DC 20036, (202) 887-6791 and the Arizona State
Board of Nursing accredit the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree

The Arizona State Department of Education has given formal approval of
the work done at the University for the certification of elementary and
secondary teachers and for the renewal of certificates.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid programs are available to students interested in
attending online college courses at Grand Canyon University. These
funds are intended to help pay for some of the costs associated with
educational expenses (i.e. tuition & fees, books, supplies, etc.)
Financial aid programs include Federal Stafford Student Loan, the
Federal PLUS Loan, and the Federal Pell Grant.
