Eastwick College Eastwick Colleges, the New Jersey corporate entity that owns and operates the HoHoKus School of Business and Medical Sciences, in Ramsey, also owns four additional schools, HoHoKus School RETS-Nutley, HoHoKus Hackensack School of Business and Medical Sciences, HoHoKus School of Trade and Technical Sciences, Paterson and HoHoKus School at Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus. Curriculums cover diverse fields of study including licensed practical nursing, hispanic nursing, ultrasound technology, surgical technology, medical assisting, electronics, computer repair, computer operations, business, manufacturing technology, welding including electrical and structural, HVAC, and medical billing and coding. Each campus adheres to the outstanding standards established by Thomas M. Eastwick, President of Eastwick Colleges. In addition the varied curriculums at our Ramsey, Nutley and Hackensack campuses have been evaluated by the American Council on Education, allowing Eastwick Colleges' graduates to earn up to 55 college credits at more than 1500 colleges and universities across the nation. Accreditation Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is recognized as the career college leader by most tri-state area high-school teachers and guidance counselors. HoHoKus Schools is known for its commitment to excellence and is the recognized leader in career education by their many outstanding affiliations and awards. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools are accredited by either Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools or the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is approved by the State of New Jersey, Department of Education and the Department of Labor under the standards for approval of private schools. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing under the standards for approval to teach nursing and the New Jersey Department of Health and Long Term Care under the standards for approval to teach certified nurse aides. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools' training has been evaluated by the American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE/CCRS) has determined that courses offered at Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools are equivalent to or similar to those taught at the college level. Thomas Edison State College has chosen Eastwick Colleges, HoHoKus Schools as the first proprietary school in the State of New Jersey to be affiliated as a "Degree Partner", allowing Thomas Edison State College associate degree programs to be offered on our campus. A "Letter of Understanding" allows graduates of HoHoKus School Programs to apply for up to 45 semester hours of appropriate ACE (American Council on Education) credit recommendations towards Thomas Edison State College's Associate of Applied Science Degree requirements. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is a member in good standing of both the Career College Association and the Private Career School Association of New Jersey. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is an eligible institution under the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Family Educational Loan Program, and the Direct Loan Program. The schools are approved by the New Jersey Department of Education to train eligible veterans under Title 38, US Code. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is authorized under federal laws to enroll non-immigrant alien students. Eastwick Colleges/HoHoKus Schools is an authorized Microsoft Testing Center with locations at our campuses in Ramsey, Hackensack and Nutley New Jersey. |
